... Elipses leave glimpses
as time slips to drips rinsing
rain falls,

I crawl to shelter
from peltering weather
and feathers bind...

blindly saving,
lines engraved in hearts betrayed.

Sin befalls
us all

and feathers fade to small and
silent whispers,
bade the pictures farewell,
this is my farewell,

cry not for sea shells
lost
this is the cost of giving
a life lived in sorrow,

the morrow...

is distant,

my heart is resistant...
